Christan Frisinger
Savannah---Christan “Chris” Frisinger, 66, passed away on March 16, 2026.
Friends may call from 2-4 PM on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St., in Clyde.
Chris was born on March 16, 1960, in Lyons, New York, the third of four children born to Wayne and Margaret Frisinger. He grew up in Clyde, New York alongside his siblings Lance, Kim, and Tammy, forming lifelong bonds of family and friendship.
Chris was a man full of creativity, humor, and compassion. He had a rare emotional intelligence that allowed him to deeply understand and care for others. Those who knew him will remember his quick wit, warmth, and the way he made people feel seen, heard, and valued.
Music was one of the great passions of Chris’s life. A self-taught guitarist, he played in bands for much of his life and loved sharing music with others. He also loved sports, cooking, and watching scary movies, something he happily introduced to his daughters, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Above all else, Chris was an extraordinary father. It seemed as though he was born for the role. His love and devotion to his daughters, Kalie and Taylor, defined his life. He loved them with all his soul and made them feel deeply loved and valued. He was their safe haven, and they could always count on him to be there for them emotionally, spiritually, and in every way that mattered.
Chris’s love and passion for fatherhood was only matched by his deep faith and love for Jesus Christ, a faith he lovingly passed on to his daughters. Of all the gifts he gave them, the most meaningful was the foundation of faith he instilled in their hearts.
Chris had a generous spirit and a compassionate heart. He was the kind of person who would give you the coat off his back. His patience, empathy, and kindness touched everyone who knew him. Because of him, his daughters look back on their childhood with warmth and gratitude, remembering how special and unconditionally loved he made them feel.
Chris is survived by his siblings Lance, Kim, and Tammy; his beloved daughters Kalie and Taylor; and his cherished grandchildren: Jayden and Vesper, Kalie’s children, and Jacob, Vada, and Troy, Taylor’s children.
His love, faith, laughter, and music will live on in the hearts of his family forever.
