Clyde—Ginger Harper, 68, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Highland Hospital after a long illness.

Friends may call from 10 AM to Noon on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St. in Clyde. A funeral service will follow at Noon at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maplegrove Cemetery.

Ginger was born in Middleton, NY on February 9, 1955 the daughter of the late William and Doris Conklin Layton. For years, she worked at JL Hammett in Lyons. Later she worked in Various area grocery stores, most recently, the IGA in Clyde. She was a past member of the Clyde Grange.

She is survived by her husband of twelve years Robert Harper; a son Gary (Jessica) Roby; five grandchildren; two brothers William and Perry Layton. She was predeceased by her daughter Amy Sheehan in 2022 and her twin Sister Bonnie Lewis in 2016.
