John V. Colasurdo

Clyde—John V. Colasurdo, 89, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Hildebrandt Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at St. John's Cemetery in Clyde. A reception will follow at the Clyde V.F.W.26 Sodus St. in Clyde.

John was born in Lyons on June 24, 1936, the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Viglione Colasurdo. He was a graduate of Clyde High School, Class of 1955.  John was the proud owner of Dolly's Flower Box in Clyde with his wife Dolly.  He loved hunting and fishing. He was a wonderful grandfather and enjoyed telling stories of his years in the Army, friendships and playing football.

John is survived by a daughter Constance (Frank) DiFelice of Penfield; a son Joseph Colasurdo of Victor; three grandchildren Francesco and Olivia DiFelice, Alana Colasurdo; Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife LaDorna “Dolly” in 2022 and two brothers Carl and Frank Colasurdo.
