Clyde----Stephen R. Boone, 79. passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Rochester General Hospital.

Friends may call from 11am to 1pm on Sunday, April 12, 2026, Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St., Clyde, NY.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Clyde VFW at 2pm.

Stephen was born in Pultneyville, on June 23, 1946, the son of the late Murray and Bertha Amon Boone.  He served his country in the US Army from1968-1970.  He worked for many years at Garlock. In his spare time, he loved Art, Bird Watching and building birdhouses. Nothing beat watching his grandchildren playing sports.

He is survived by his wife Lois, two daughters Vickie (Floyd) Rouse and Heather Boone; four grandchildren Devin (Chelsea) Rouse, 
Cherelle Grant, Aaron Rouse and Jaylen Barnes; two great grandchildren; two sisters Margo (Roy) Sebastiano and Nancy Wren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by eleven brothers and sisters.
